Dynamic Actor Ready for Roles

 Sidney Cotto is an actor, writer, and producer with a love for the absurd—the kind of absurd that makes you laugh a little too hard and then question your entire existence on the walk home.

Born in Humble, Texas, Sidney learned early on what it means to be an outcast and, more importantly, how to make that her superpower—and occasionally her best material.

She attended Northwestern University, where she will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre, armed with a degree and an alarming amount of emotional stamina.

 At Northwestern, Sidney ignited many different passions, from writing plays about the apocalypse to learning flag throwing for The Winter Guard—because apparently regular extracurriculars were not chaotic enough. 

Whether she is devising new work, throwing herself dramatically onto a stage floor, or spending an unreasonable amount of time dissecting a single line reading, collaboration is always at the center of her work. She believes the best art comes from people being a little weird together. 

Sidney has been praised for her comedic timing, emotional depth, and active engagement with her scene partners. 

Performing is her one true love, and she will absolutely do the work to make each performance shine—even if that means rewriting a scene at 2 a.m., crying over a monologue in public, or willingly embarrassing herself for the sake of the bit.
